Country-Wide is actively developing a fully functional password-protected Website. The two main purposes of the website are to:

1. Provide high-speed information access to claims adjusters via a secure network.

2. Offer an informative description of our internal operational workflow and key personnel allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of the medical cost containment process.

The security of the proposed website is maintained by integrating well-established technology with insurer-specific password protection. In an effort to ensure the privacy of information transmittal via the Internet, Country-Wide has elected to install a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) on the Website. The SSL protects potentially vulnerable information by utilizing an encryption technology that hashes and rehashes data during transmission. This ensures the integrity of the information and essentially “locks out” uninvited viewers during transfer via The Internet. The key to “unlocking” the data is an insurer-specific password. The insurer-specific password is a set of characters and numbers that are changed monthly and updated by the Country-Wide Webmaster. An online agreement serves as additional protection for private information, and secures the rights of the individual claimant. All IME and Peer Review reports are available for viewing on the website from the onset of rollout continuing throughout the life of the business relationship. Insurer approval is required before posting any medical reports on the website.
